Turlock Adult School Information

Admission

Turlock Adult School is open to all persons 18 or older; you do not need to be a Turlock resident. Concurrently enrolled high school students must have their counselor’s approval before enrolling in classes required for a high school diploma. The purpose of allowing concurrently enrolled students is to supplement and enrich the opportunity for qualified high school students to progress toward meeting the educational requirements for graduation from high school. Note: California Education Code mandates that adults have priority when enrolling in all courses.

Refund Policy

NO REFUNDS will be given unless a class is cancelled by Turlock Adult School.

Registration

All students must register before attending class; registration at the door/auditing of classes is not allowed.

ABE, ASE, HSE, ESL, and Citizenship Preparation Enrollment

In order to comply with federal funding requirements, all Turlock Adult School students enrolling in the programs listed above are required to satisfy certain testing requirements. Testing is mandatory, but it shouldn’t be stressful—test scores are used to determine the quality of our instructional practices, not to judge the knowledge of individual students.
