Community Education
The core mission of adult education is to provide adults with the basic knowledge and skills they need to participate in civic life and the workforce. Under state law, adult education can also serve various other purposes, including offering enrichment classes. Turlock Adult School is committed to providing enrichment opportunities to adults in Turlock and the surrounding communities, but we are only able to do this if these classes are self-supporting.
After each course listing in this section, you will see the minimum number of student enrollments that are required to cover the costs of the class. If this minimum number is not met, the class will have to be canceled. Because we need time to notify students and issue refunds when classes are canceled, the decision has to be made a week before the first class date. Please register as early as you can to prevent possible cancellations.
