English as a Second Language

Students will be placed in an ESL class based on a combination of their test score and their preferred location/schedule. All ESL classes held at sites other than the Turlock Adult School campus are multi-level and may serve students of differing levels of English proficiency. Students who score at the Adult Secondary level or higher on their pre- or post-test should enter the Adult Basic Education (ABE) program.
